Baltic Assembly Presidium expresses concern over the dangerous escalation by Russia

(16.11.2022.)

In its Statement regarding the Russia-made missile exploding in the territory of the Republic of Poland, the Presidium of the Baltic Assembly (BA) expresses concern over the latest dangerous escalation by Russia that has resulted in the death of two Polish citizens in the village of Przewodów.

The Statement expresses the deepest condolences to the families of the victims and the whole Polish nation. The Presidium of the BA strongly urges the Member States of the European Union and NATO to support actions considered appropriate by the Republic of Poland in response to the missile exploding in the village of Przewodów.

The Presidium of the BA calls for immediate efforts to show in the strongest possible way the consequences that the Russian Federation will face when causing any direct or indirect military threat to a Member State of the EU and NATO.

The Statement also reaffirms the full solidarity of the Baltic States with Poland and Ukraine, which are directly affected by the outrageous, violent and inhumane war carried out by the Russian Federation.
