According to the decision of the Presidium of the Saeima on reducing the Saeima budget for 2021 and allocating the funding to the Ministry of Healthcare, the resources of the Saeima budget to the tune of 2.35 million Euros that were not used this year for the initially intended purpose, will be allocated to fund the needs of the healthcare sector.

Members of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the European Affairs Committee of the Saeima held a joint meeting on Wednesday, 15 December, to discuss current foreign policy issues. On Thursday, 25 November, the Saeima adopted in the second and final reading the urgent amendments to the Epidemiological Safety Law. The amendments provide that pharmacists working in pharmacies may also vaccinate people against COVID‑19.
On Thursday, 25 November, the Saeima adopted in the final reading the Law on the Termination of Enforced Property Division in Privatised Multi‑apartment Houses. The Law sets out the procedure for starting and implementing the process of establishing a single property in case of enforced property division where the multi‑apartment house with privatised apartments is located on the land owned by another person.
